As the impact of COVID-19 continues to unfold, Cyber Advisors Inc. has activated it’s pandemic plan in accordance with our standard business continuity practices. The intent of this plan is to provide for the ongoing health and safety of our employees, partners and our clients while ensuring seamless service throughout this outbreak as well as compliance with governmental regulations and public health guidance.

Our pandemic plan has calls for a phased approach consistent with guidelines recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control which include assessing an incident and then containing and mitigating risk.  The plan identifies specific actions that are triggered based upon the assessed severity.

We have assembled a response team that is monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and implementing actions in accordance with our plan. All Cyber Advisors services are designed to be redundant and operational.

As a precautionary measure, Cyber Advisors Inc. has implemented the following control measures designed to minimize the risk of impact to our services:

Hygiene and Entrance restrictions:  We’re taking additional precautions in our work environments to help keep our employees healthy.

Travel:  Employees have been given guidance to restrict travel.

Remote work:   All Cyber Advisors‘ employees are able to work remotely on short notice to maintain service continuity. Our helpdesk has been expanded in anticipation for more people working remotely and the increased demand for service desk services. We have made plans to back up the service desk technicians with engineering resources on the back-end for escalations.  Cyber Advisors will prioritize requests for users that need to work remotely.

On-site dispatches:   Our engineers will be instructed to offer clients a choice – to come onsite or work remotely. We have all the tools and abilities to address most engineering tasks remotely. We will make a concerted effort to increase the level of the communication – before and after a scheduled engagement.

Critical Vendors.  We have engaged critical vendors and partners to ensure that they have been likewise reviewing the situation and implementing safeguards to ensure business-continuity. Please be aware the supply chains in the modern economy are often overseas and we expect order delays. If your organization is planning to add or replace any hardware in the near future, it is possible that some equipment may be delayed.

Thank you for your continued trust in our company and we look forward to helping you through these times.  We are monitoring the situation and implementing procedures found to be successful in preserving business continuity. Stay healthy and safe.
